Introduction
This presidential decree is a single paragraph, dated 14 April 1959. It explains that the organic regulations of the People's Congress and the People's Committee of Tongdao Dong Autonomous County, Hunan, have been approved by the 108th session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on this day, and are hereby promulgated. Signed by Mao Zedong, Chairman of the PRC, it is the shortest piece in the book.
The Regulations of the People's Congress and the People's Council of the Dong Nationality Autonomous County of Tongdao, Hunan province, were approved at the 108th session of the Standing Committee of the First National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on 14 April 1959, and are hereby promulgated.
